Rules, controls and help for Joker Sequence Practice

Give this approach a try

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. A joker can fill a missing rank, but fixed natural cards must fit one suit and a consecutive interval. Check the relevant controls before continuing.

What the game asks you to do

Decide whether natural cards and available jokers can complete one same-suit sequence. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer. For a calm first round, focus on one decision.

Start here and follow along

  1. Start a 10-question session. Read the visible rule label and wild rank, if shown.
  2. A joker can fill a missing rank, but fixed natural cards must fit one suit and a consecutive interval.
  3. Study the complete hand before answering. Choose Valid or Not valid.
  4. Read the explanation after submitting. Each question accepts one submitted answer.
  5. Continue to the tenth question for a session score; start another session for a new selection.

The controls to know

Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer. A clear plan starts with the current position.

An example before you play

Example hand: Joker 4♦ 8♠. Wild rank 8. These cards fit consecutive positions in one suit; a joker can fill a missing position. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

A useful caution

For a calm first round, focus on one decision. A wild substitute cannot erase a conflicting fixed suit or duplicate fixed rank. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

Questions that come up during play

What is the aim?

Decide whether natural cards and available jokers can complete one same-suit sequence. Take a moment to read the table. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

How do I use the controls?

Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. Begin with the objective. Check the relevant controls before continuing.

Which format is available?

500 stored and rule-checked questions; ten questions per session. Questions can repeat across sessions. Practice is solo, with no rating, cash reward or account. Look at the complete hand before deciding. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

What should I check before a move?

A wild substitute cannot erase a conflicting fixed suit or duplicate fixed rank. Keep the active rule in mind. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

Can you give an example?

6♣ 8♣ Joker can form 6♣ 7♣ 8♣. A natural 8♦ cannot fit that club run. Keep the active rule in mind. Use another round to revisit a decision.

How many questions are available?

This exercise contains 500 stored questions. A session selects ten without repeating within that session. For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Use another round to revisit a decision.

Can I change a submitted answer?

No. Read the explanation, then continue. Start another session to practise again. Before making a move, check the cards in view. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

Are the answers checked against the rules?

A joker can fill a missing rank, but fixed natural cards must fit one suit and a consecutive interval. Take a moment to read the table. Use another round to revisit a decision.

Will I always see new cards?

No. The bank is finite, so another session may include a previously played question. A clear plan starts with the current position. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

What does the score measure?

The score is the number of correct answers in this ten-question session. It is not a skill certificate or a prediction of match results. Take a moment to read the table. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
